JERIX is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This page sets out what we have done, what is not yet perfect and how to reach us.

Our commitment.

We work to make this site accessible in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

The regulations refer to Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA. This site was built to the more recent guidelines, WCAG 2.1 at level AA.

What we have done.

  • Full keyboard navigation: every link, button and form can be reached with Tab, Shift+Tab and Enter.
  • A clearly visible focus state, so you always know where you are on the page.
  • Labels and descriptions for screen readers, and a heading structure that lets you jump between sections.
  • Colour contrast checked to a ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text.
  • Support for the operating system's reduced-motion setting: animations are reduced or stopped.
  • A full Hebrew version with right-to-left layout, and the correct language set on every page.
  • Text can be enlarged with browser zoom without losing content or function.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
  • A responsive layout for phones and tablets.
  • No flashing or flickering content.

Accessibility was checked internally by our own team, and we keep checking it with every update to the site.

Known limitations.

Despite our efforts, some content, in particular third-party content or content added recently, may not yet be fully accessible. We keep testing and improving.

The animated demo on the site has a play and pause control, so it can be stopped at any time.
